Foreign citizens can use services from the following providers operating in Russia: National Operator Tax Free, Global Blue, HI SKY and Tax Free Premier.
The Tax free counter for getting VAT refunds is located in the customs area near the Round bank. Once there, passengers can go through all the necessary procedures without entering the common area of the airport. Employees of the Federal Customs Service make all of the necessary arrangements for processing tax refund documents regardless of whether the goods are in your checked baggage or carry-on baggage.
There are two ways to receive a tax refund, by bank transfer or cash. Our Tax Free counter has mailboxes for several different providers where you can drop off an envelope with the necessary documents. You will receive the funds into your bank once the VAT refund has been processed.
