Since July 15, 2022, Belavia Airlines has resumed flights from Vnukovo International Airport to Minsk. The aircraft, which arrived from the capital of the Republic of Belarus, landed at Vnukovo Airport, where it was traditionally greeted with a water arch. In honor of the solemn event — the resumption of the flight program of Belavia Airlines — a red ribbon was cut. The ceremony was attended by Anton Kuznetsov, Deputy General Director for Commerce of Vnukovo International Airport, Vladimir Barkun, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Foreign Economic Activity of Belavia Airlines, and Igor Kirsanov, Director of the General Representative Office of Belavia Airlines in the Russian Federation. The passengers of the Moscow (Vnukovo)–Minsk flight were presented with souvenirs from Vnukovo Airport. The festive atmosphere on this day was created by the leading creative team of the city of Moscow children’s choreographic ensemble «Zhemchuzhina» OSP KC «Vnukovo» GBUG G. Moscow «OKC CJSC».
The new route «Moscow (Vnukovo) — Minsk» has good potential, both in terms of the development of economic cooperation and cultural exchange between our countries, and as an attractive tourist destination. Belarus is rich in cultural monuments, architecture, unique nature reserves and parks. The republic has developed a comfortable and friendly urban environment, as well as gastronomic tourism. Regular flights «Moscow (Vnukovo) — Minsk» will be operated three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Departure from Minsk is at 13:20, arrival in Moscow is at 14:35; return flights from Vnukovo are at 15:25 with arrival in the capital of Belarus at 16:50. The airline’s priority is to ensure flight safety.

Vladimir Barkun, Deputy General Director for Marketing and Foreign Economic Activity of JSC Belavia Airlines, noted the prospects and demand for the opening of flights from Minsk to Vnukovo Airport: «We are sure that flights will be popular, because Vnukovo is an attractive transit hub for passengers traveling in Russia. In addition, for many passengers of direct flights Minsk-Moscow-Minsk, the proximity to the capital and the transport accessibility of the airport are of fundamental importance. And in this regard, Vnukovo is really convenient.»
You can get to Vnukovo International Airport by any convenient form of public transport: by metro, bus, aeroexpress or taxi. And next year, a metro station with direct access to the terminal will be opened at the airport.
