On May 31, the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "Ingushetia – the land of towers and legends" took place at Vnukovo airport. The exposition is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Ingush statehood.
The joint project of Vnukovo International Airport and the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Ingushetia presents 16 works by talented photographers Timur Agirov and Evgeny Shivtsov, who captured the beauty of Ingushetia: the Assinsky and Jeyrakh gorges, medieval architectural complexes and temples, as well as picturesque mountain landscapes.
Opening the ceremony, the representative of the Republic of Ingushetia under the President of the Russian Federation, Muslim Ozdoev, noted: "This exhibition is a unique event for us. I express my gratitude on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Ingushetia Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov and on my own behalf to the management of Vnukovo Airport for the opportunity to hold an exhibition dedicated to our native land. To date, tourist routes are being actively improved in the republic. We are working to ensure that our distinctive culture, authentic nature and unique historical sites are accessible and comfortable for everyone to explore. I hope that the exhibition project "Ingushetia – the land of towers and legends" will attract attention to our direction and help tourists discover hospitable and picturesque Ingushetia."
The key idea of the exhibition is to popularize the tourist features of Ingushetia, attract more attention of tourists to the prosperous region and demonstrate the possibilities of recreation in their native country. Ingushetia is a land of amazing natural contrasts, the highest peaks, powerful glaciers, stormy rivers, lakes unique in their beauty, unique vegetation and rare animals. That is why this direction is of interest to tourists. Anton Kuznetsov, Deputy General Director for Commerce of Vnukovo International Airport JSC, stressed: "We welcome our honored guests from the region with a rich cultural heritage and unique natural beauty, appreciated by tourists. Flights to Ingushetia from Vnukovo Airport are carried out almost daily. On the route Moscow (Vnukovo) – Magas is operated by Pobeda and Utair Airlines, which transported 248 thousand passengers in 2021, which is 34% more than a year earlier. Vnukovo remains the only Moscow airport, flights from which to Ingushetia are operated all year round. These are not bad results in modern conditions. I am sure that this exhibition will become a new incentive for the development of the flight program to the region. Today's event is a confirmation that even in difficult times, culture has no borders. In the aviation industry, there are always primary tasks and problems that need to be solved, and Vnukovo Airport, being an integral part of it, is not an exception. Every year, international professional associations call Vnukovo Airport one of the most convenient, safe and technologically advanced airport complexes not only in Russia, but also in Europe. The management of Vnukovo comprehensively develops the airport infrastructure, taking all possible measures to provide high-quality service to passengers and guests. As before, Vnukovo Airport is ready to strengthen partnerships with colleagues from other regions of our multinational country, as well as create a unique platform for maintaining cultural and business ties."
The opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "Ingushetia – the land of towers and legends" ended with the traditional cutting of a red ribbon.
Everyone can visit the photo exhibition at Vnukovo airport absolutely free of charge. The exhibition will run until June 30, 2022.
