Air travelers departing on scheduled domestic flights can complete their check-in and check their luggage at the Vnukovo Aeroexpress Downtown Terminal at Kievsky Train Station.  On any given day  check -in for flights departing on that day (until 12 p.m.) is open. 

  Dear air travelers, please pay particular attention to the fact that effective 0.00 hrs., March 09, 2010, the revised rules of passenger and baggage check-in at Kievsky have come into force, whereby the check-in for both domestic and international flights [at Kievsky] closes 15  minutes prior to the departure of the so-called last [connecting] express. The last [connecting] express of the rule is a train that will be leaving Kievsky Station no later than two (2) hours prior to your flight's scheduled departure [from the gate], be it a domestic or an international one, as opposed to the now-cancelled procedure of train departures occurring three (3) hours prior to to your flight's scheduled departure [from the gate].

  When planning your trip to Vnukovo International via Kievsky but with no intention of checking in for your flight here, we advise that you leave the Station for the Airport no later than an hour and a half prior to your flight’s departure and no later than two hours prior to all international departures. Please note that in such an event you will still have to check in for your flight and complete all relevant formalities at the Airport by following the standard procedure. 

The allowances and tariffs instituted by carriers [airlines] apply during baggage check-in at the Kievsky Station Terminal.

  Please note that extremely outsized baggage (that considerably exceeding standard dimensions), cannot be accepted for check-in at Kievsky  due to all of the checked baggage being subsequently placed in containers and sealed for reloading directly into aircraft cargo holds. In such a case you will have to check the outsized items at the Airport.

  The passengers holding tickets for the Yakutia flights are eligible for a free trip by Vnukovo Aeroexpress from Kievsky Train Station to the Airport and vice versa.  To claim your free Aeroexpress ticket(s) please report to the JSC 'Transagentstvo Vnukovo'  ticket office located in the check-in area on the first level  of  the Vnukovo Aeroexpress Terminal at Kievsky Station. The bearers of Yuakutia tickets who are about to transit from the Airport to midtown Moscow and wishing to claim their free Aeroexpress tickets, can do so at Messrs. Transagentstvo Vnukovo' s ticket offices # 25 and # 26 located on the first level of Domestic Terminal D.    

  Please note that passenger and baggage check-in at Kievsky is a service available to a temporarily limited number of  our charter-flight and international passengers. You can complete your check-in and check your baggage at Kievsky if you hold a ticket for a flight to virtually any destination served from Vnukovo International except for the following few: Yerevan and Gyumri served by Armavia , Istanbul (all the charters booked by Pan-Ukraine travel agency), Kagliari (if served by STC Russia) and all the destinations in Germany served by Germanwings.

The somewhat limited scope of the service is due solely to the respective in-house executive decisions by the airlines and tour operators concerned, and is in no way circumscribed by any technological constraints as regards baggage check-in and its subsequent handling at the Terminal at Kievsky.
